Jones Chapel Baptist Church is 501(c)(3) federally recognized nonprofit, public corporation registered in the State of Texas.
At Jones Chapel-Conroe, the Deacon's Ministry isn't just a title; it's a calling rooted in servant leadership, faithfulness, and unwavering commitment to the vision and pillars of the church. Pastor Allen Jr. has charged the Deacons with ensuring that their character, actions, and service reflect the foundation of Accountability, Commitment, Communication, Integrity, and Adaptability, not just in the church but in their everyday lives.
The Deacon's Vibe is one of strength, humility, and dedication, resonating throughout the congregation as they lead by example, not just words. They are brothers in faith, standing firm in supporting the Pastor, caring for the members, and upholding the church's mission. Their presence brings a sense of order, encouragement, and spiritual stability, ensuring no one is left behind in their faith journey.
Leading this dynamic ministry is Chairman Lawrence Williams Sr., a seasoned leader whose legacy of service speaks for itself. As an Army Veteran, Retired Correctional Officer, and Business Owner, Chairman Williams has mastered the art of leadership, discipline, and service. Yet, despite his impressive resume, his greatest passion remains serving the Lord and his church family. His ability to lead with wisdom, inspire with humility, and support with unwavering dedication makes him a pillar of strength in the Jones Chapel community.
The Deacons of Jones Chapel-Conroe are more than just church leaders; they are servants, protectors, and encouragers who stand on the front lines of ministry to ensure that every member experiences the love, support, and guidance they need. Their commitment to the church's vision is evident in their actions, care for the congregation, and faith.

Jones Chapel-Conroe has been a pillar in the community for 29 years, and now it's time to invest in the future! As our ministry continues to grow, so do the needs of our facilities. We're launching a fundraiser to raise $ 225,000 over the next year to ensure our church remains a place of worship, fellowship, and impact for future generations!
We are a church, but operating a church and enjoying the amenities costs. Our building has served us faithfully, but after 29 years, significant upgrades are needed to maintain and enhance our house of worship. Funds raised will go toward:
Replacing 2 A/C Units – Keeping our sanctuary comfortable for worship.
Roof Replacement – Protecting our church from weather damage.
Sprinkler & Alarm System Updates – Ensuring safety for everyone.
Building & Parking Lot Maintenance – Keeping our facilities welcoming and accessible.
Plumbing Repairs – Addressing necessary upgrades.
Church LED Screen – Enhancing our worship experience with updated technology.
This fundraiser is not a requirement; it's a voluntary opportunity for every member to invest in the future of our church and help us reach our goals together.
A few dedicated members have already filled out their Fundraiser Commitment Forms, and we truly appreciate their willingness to sow into the vision. However, over 90% of the congregation has yet to commit. To ensure we reach our goal, the Pastor and the Finance Committee have divided the congregation into groups, and each group has been assigned a Fundraiser Coordinator who will serve as a point of contact for questions, encouragement, and accountability.
Forms are readily available at the sanctuary entrance with Sis. Mary Jones. We thank everyone in advance for their participation, and we appreciate your consideration for those who choose not to participate.
At Jones Chapel, we believe in the New Testament way of giving—"God loves a cheerful giver.” (2 Corinthians 9:7). If you are not giving cheerfully, we encourage you to pray and allow God to lead your heart in this decision. This fundraiser concerns faith, commitment, and a shared responsibility to sustain the ministry.
This is not an option for 2025 auxiliary leaders. Leadership in the church requires leading by example, including in giving.
"Set the believers an example in speech, conduct, love, faith, purity." – 1 Timothy 4:12
To support this focus, the Pastor has officially dismissed all previous $100 auxiliary payments for Men's, Church, Women's, and Youth Annual Day. Instead of these commitments, we focus on reaching our collective goal of $225,000.
We ask 80 committed givers to contribute $225 monthly (or $56 weekly). If you feel led to give more, every contribution brings us closer to our goal!
Weekly Giving | Monthly Giving | Total for the Year (52 Weeks) |
---|---|---|
$56 | $225 | $2,925 |
$75 | $300 | $3,900 |
$100 | $400 | $5,200 |
$125 | $500 | $6,500 |
We ask that you pray and allow the Lord to guide your heart in giving. Your generosity will help sustain and strengthen Jones Chapel's ministry for years to come.
We are grateful for every member and every gift. Together, we can reach this goal and continue to build a church that serves, uplifts, and transforms lives!
