Welcome to the Deacons Ministry at Jones Chapel-Conroe, where we are committed to serving our church community with humility, compassion, and the love of Christ. Our ministry is guided by the faithful leadership of our shepherd, Pastor Lenard Allen Jr., who has charged us with the responsibility of meeting the spiritual and practical needs of our church family.
Deacon's Ministry
Vision
The Deacons Ministry vision is to embody Christ's love and compassion in all that we do. We believe in serving with humility, leading with compassion, and living our lives in accordance with the teachings of Scripture. Our ministry is grounded in the principles of 1 Timothy 3:8-13, which call us to serve the Lord by serving His people.
To achieve our vision, we have developed a comprehensive plan of action that encompasses several key areas of focus. Our first priority is to provide spiritual support to our congregation by offering prayer, guidance, and support to those who need it most. We believe that by offering a listening ear and words of encouragement, we can help our church family to find comfort, hope, and peace in times of joy, sorrow, and need.
In addition to providing spiritual support, we are also committed to offering practical assistance to those facing financial hardship, illness, or other challenges. This includes providing meal delivery, transportation, and resource referrals, as well as other forms of practical support that can help our church family to overcome obstacles and challenges. As a ministry, we are also dedicated to engaging in community outreach initiatives that support local charities, shelters, and community events. We believe that by demonstrating Christ's love through acts of service and compassion, we can make a positive impact on our community and help to spread the Gospel message.
