πŸ’™ A Church That Breathes Life!
Where Faith is Fire and the Culture is Changing! πŸ”₯

At Jones Chapel-Conroe, we're not just a church; we're a movement.  A movement of believers committed to changing the culture by emulating Christ in every aspect of our lives.  We don't just attend church; we are the church; living out His love, walking in His truth, and creating a space where real transformation happens every time we gather!

Our Foundation: C.P.R. – Called.  Prepared.  Refined.

Our ministry stands on three powerful pillars that shape everything we do:

βœ… CALLED – We recognize that every person has a divine purpose, and we exist to help you walk boldly in it! (Romans 8:28)
βœ… PREPARED – Through teaching, worship, and discipleship, we equip believers to stand firm in faith and lead in their families, communities, and beyond.  (Ephesians 4:12)
βœ… REFINED – Challenges shape us; through brotherhood, accountability, and spiritual growth, we emerge stronger, wiser, and ready for the next level!  (1 Peter 1:7)

This is more than a slogan; it's the heartbeat of our church.  Everything we do is about developing, strengthening, and elevating God's people!

A Worship Experience Like No Other

From the moment you walk into Jones Chapel, you'll feel God's power, energy, and presence. Our Voices of Praise Choir, led by Minister of Music Mario Hamilton, with Venetta Anderson on piano and Joshua Durisseau on drums, takes worship to another level, setting the stage for a life-changing Word from Pastor Junior Allen!

But the impact doesn't stop at the benediction; we're building a culture of faith and action beyond Sunday mornings!

More Than Sunday – WOW, Wednesdays!

πŸ”₯ Midweek Momentum.  Midweek Fire.  Midweek Breakthrough! πŸ”₯

We don't just recharge—we REFUEL, REVIVE, and RESTORE at WOW Nights (Worship on Wednesdays)!

πŸ’₯ C.P.R. Men's Ministry (Called.  Prepared.  Refined.) – Building stronger men, stronger families, and more assertive faith!  Every Wednesday, 7 PM-8 PM – This is an interactive, life-changing session where men sharpen men. (Proverbs 27:17)

πŸ’– L.I.F.T. (Ladies in Fellowship Together) – A sisterhood of faith, support, and empowerment!

⚑ S.W.A.G. (Soldiers Worshipping Almighty God) – Equipping young believers to stand bold in Christ!

This is where faith meets real life.  Where conversations get real, relationships grow deep, and the culture shifts!

Deacons Ministry

Leading by Example, Serving with Purpose

At Jones Chapel-Conroe, Changing the Culture by Emulating Christ in Every Aspect of Our Life is more than just a vision; it's a movement.  And every movement needs strong leaders.  The Deacons Ministry, led by Chairman Lawrence Williams Sr., is at the forefront of this transformation.   Under the guidance of our pastor, the Deacon Staff is stepping into 2025 with higher expectations, greater accountability, and a renewed commitment to Christlike service.  Their role isn't just to assist; to lead by example in every way, aligning with the church's pillars of Christlike Living, Pursuit of Holiness, and Revitalizing Lives.

What This Means for Our Church

πŸ”₯ Christlike Living – Our deacons serve with integrity, compassion, and humility, following the biblical standards set in 1 Timothy 3:8-13.  Praying for the sick, offering guidance, or supporting those in need are examples of Christ's love.

πŸ”₯ Pursuit of Holiness – The Pastor has set a standard for our deacons to be spiritually grounded, active in worship, and fully engaged in ministry.  They're not just here to hold a title but to serve, grow, and walk in holiness.

πŸ”₯ Revitalizing Lives – The Deacons Ministry is committed to action, helping families through financial struggles, illness, and hardships.  From providing meals and transportation to offering encouragement and support, they are dedicated to lifting people up inside and outside the church walls.

A Culture of Service and a Vibe Like No Other

At Jones Chapel-Conroe, we don't just talk about faith; we live it.  And the atmosphere here is a VIBE.  Our pastor sets the tone, bringing energy, love, and a personal touch to every encounter.  This spirit flows through our deacons, ensuring that every person who walks through our doors feels seen, supported, and strengthened.

The culture is shifting, and it starts with leadership.  Our deacons are not just serving; they are changing lives.

A Heart for Giving: Honoring God Through Generosity

Grace Giving: Aligning Our Hearts with God’s Purpose

At Jones Chapel-Conroe, Changing the Culture by Emulating Christ in Every Aspect of Our Life includes how we give.  Our 2025 vision and church pillars, Christlike Living, Pursuit of Holiness, and Revitalizing Lives, are reflected in our approach to giving, not as an obligation but as an act of faith, love, and worship.

Our Biblical Standard for Giving

While the Old Testament tithe (10%) serves as a measurement and guideline, we believe in the New Testament principle of Grace Giving. 2 Corinthians 9:6-8 reminds us:

"Whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows generously will also reap generously.  Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.  And God is able to bless you abundantly, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work."

This means that our giving is not based on law but on love.  It is an act of worship, gratitude, and trust in God's provision.  We give not out of obligation but out of joy, understanding that everything we have comes from Him.

Why Giving to Your Local Church Matters

Many believe that giving money to the sick or needy is a form of tithing, but Scripture is clear that tithes belong to the church.

πŸ“– Malachi 3:10"Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house. Test me in this," says the Lord Almighty, "and see if I will not throw open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessing that there will not be room enough to store it."

πŸ“– 1 Corinthians 9:13-14"Don’t you know that those who serve in the temple get their food from the temple, and that those who serve at the altar share in what is offered on the altar? In the same way, the Lord has commanded that those who preach the gospel should receive their living from the gospel."

Your giving ensures that the work of ministry continues, allowing us to:

βœ… Minister to the community through outreach programs, discipleship, and evangelism.
βœ… Support the church's needs—maintaining a place of worship, funding ministries, and expanding our ability to serve.
βœ… Spread the Gospel by equipping leaders, providing resources, and supporting missions.

When you give, you are investing in the Kingdom of God, allowing us to revitalize lives and fulfill the mission He has called us to.

BUILDING FOR THE FUTURE: $225K FUNDRAISER

Our Goal: $225,000 | April 6, 2025 – April 5, 2026

Jones Chapel-Conroe has been a pillar in the community for 29 years, and now it's time to invest in the future!  As our ministry continues to grow, so do the needs of our facilities.  We're launching a fundraiser to raise $ 225,000 over the next year to ensure our church remains a place of worship, fellowship, and impact for future generations!

Why This Fundraiser Matters

We are a church, but operating a church and enjoying the amenities costs.  Our building has served us faithfully, but after 29 years, significant upgrades are needed to maintain and enhance our house of worship.  Funds raised will go toward:

Replacing 2 A/C Units – Keeping our sanctuary comfortable for worship.
Roof Replacement – Protecting our church from weather damage.
Sprinkler & Alarm System Updates – Ensuring safety for everyone.
Building & Parking Lot Maintenance – Keeping our facilities welcoming and accessible.
Plumbing Repairs – Addressing necessary upgrades.
Church LED Screen – Enhancing our worship experience with updated technology.

This fundraiser is not a requirement; it's a voluntary opportunity for every member to invest in the future of our church and help us reach our goals together.

Where We Stand

A few dedicated members have already filled out their Fundraiser Commitment Forms, and we truly appreciate their willingness to sow into the vision.  However, over 90% of the congregation has yet to commit.  To ensure we reach our goal, the Pastor and the Finance Committee have divided the congregation into groups, and each group has been assigned a Fundraiser Coordinator who will serve as a point of contact for questions, encouragement, and accountability.

Forms are readily available at the sanctuary entrance with Sis.  Mary Jones.  We thank everyone in advance for their participation, and we appreciate your consideration for those who choose not to participate.

The Heart of Giving

At Jones Chapel, we believe in the New Testament way of giving—"God loves a cheerful giver.” (2 Corinthians 9:7).  If you are not giving cheerfully, we encourage you to pray and allow God to lead your heart in this decision.  This fundraiser concerns faith, commitment, and a shared responsibility to sustain the ministry.

Expectations for Leadership

This is not an option for 2025 auxiliary leaders. Leadership in the church requires leading by example, including in giving.

"Set the believers an example in speech, conduct, love, faith, purity." – 1 Timothy 4:12

To support this focus, the Pastor has officially dismissed all previous $100 auxiliary payments for Men's, Church, Women's, and Youth Annual Day.  Instead of these commitments, we focus on reaching our collective goal of $225,000.

How You Can Help

We ask 80 committed givers to contribute $225 monthly (or $56 weekly).  If you feel led to give more, every contribution brings us closer to our goal!

Giving Breakdown

Weekly Giving Monthly Giving Total for the Year (52 Weeks)
$56 $225 $2,925
$75 $300 $3,900
$100 $400 $5,200
$125 $500 $6,500

Pray and Let the Lord Direct You

We ask that you pray and allow the Lord to guide your heart in giving.  Your generosity will help sustain and strengthen Jones Chapel's ministry for years to come.

We are grateful for every member and every gift.  Together, we can reach this goal and continue to build a church that serves, uplifts, and transforms lives!
