At Jones Chapel-Conroe, we believe that true ministry happens beyond the pulpit; it occurs in the lives of people, in their struggles, in their victories, and their everyday walk with Christ.  The Congregational Care Ministry is the heartbeat of our church, ensuring that no one in our family walks alone.  Whether through prayer, visitation, support, or encouragement, this ministry is here to meet our congregation's spiritual and emotional needs.

Why This Ministry Matters

The 2025 Vision calls us to Change the Culture by Emulating Christ in Everything We Do.  That means showing love, offering comfort, and standing in the gap for those who most need it.  This ministry is an extension of that vision—bringing the church beyond the walls and into the lives of those who need care the most.  The pillars of Worship, Word, Outreach, and Fellowship all come alive through this team's work, ensuring that every member of our church feels seen, supported, and strengthened.

The Perfect Leaders for the Task

Minister Annette Grigsby – A Servant Like No Other

There is no better person to lead this ministry than Minister Annette Grigsby.  A servant straight from heaven!  She doesn't just lead; she lives to serve.  Minister Grigsby has a heart bigger than Texas, always ready to pray, teach, minister, feed, uplift, and encourage.  Whether visiting the sick, comforting the grieving, or leading prayer, her dedication to God's people is unmatched.  She is a superstar servant, and Jones Chapel is beyond blessed to have her leading this charge!

Deacon Calvin "Shaft" Vinson – The Man with a Mission

If Care had a face, it would look like Deacon Calvin Vinson.  Since becoming a deacon, caring for others has been his life's mission.  He doesn't wait for a request; he moves purposefully, visiting, calling, checking in, and ensuring everyone feels loved.  And it doesn't stop at the church doors; he serves the community with the same dedication.  Pastor Allen calls him "Shaft" because Deacon Vinson sees it as his duty to step in and handle what needs to be done.  His heart for people and relentless spirit make him a true pillar of care in our church family.
